The Smart Zigbee-temperature and humidity sensor by Alecto is a useful tool to monitor both the temperature and the humidity inside your house. This smart sensor allows you to set up an action towards other Alecto smart products: these actions are provoked by the temperatures and/or humidity registered by the SMART-TEMP10 sensor.
The smart sensor is powered by a button cell battery. The sensor uses the open Zigbee standard and therefore has a long battery life of up to 30 months. Sensors can be placed anywhere in your house and you do not have to worry about having to charge them all the time. The SMART-TEMP10 has to be linked to a Zigbee-gateway such as the SMART-BRIDGE10. You will receive all the recorded information on your smartphone or tablet through the internet. This also means that you can monitor the temperature and humidity everywhere.
This sensor allows smart devices to intercommunicate, so you can set-up automatic actions. For instance, it is possible to turn the heater automatically on or off when the room temperature reaches a certain value.
