The maximum supported resolution is 4096 x 2160@60Hz. This 4K resolution is ideal for displaying videos, pictures, presentations, etc. Please make sure the USB-C port of your laptop or MacBook supports DP Alt Mode.
The adapter also supports Alt Mode, a functional extension of USB-C which enables the USB connection to transmit non-USB signals. Alt Mode is an optional capability that is unique to the USB-C connector/port that allows technologies like DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 3 to be transmitted.
