This Profigold USB3.3 Gen 1 adapter can be used to make an USB-A port accessible to an USB-C™ connector. Computers and laptops are often equipped with USB-A ports. However new devices such as tablets and smartphones are often equipped with USB-C™ connectors. With USB-C™ it is possible to exchange files at high speeds, and the connector is also more compact. This adapter follows the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Super Speed specifications and is suitable for speeds up to 5 Gbit/s.



Important: The device with the USB-A connection is the 'host' (computer, notebook, smart product, etc.) and the device that is connected to the USB-C™ in-/output of the adapter follows the instructions (printer, hard disk, USB stick, etc.).
