JVC Kenwood KDC-BT450DAB. CD/USB receiver with Bluetooth & DAB+ digital radio.The DAB+ tuner receives the more than 200 digital radio stations available in Germany free of noise, crackling and level fluctuations. And if a sufficiently strong DAB broadcast signal is not available, the tuner automatically switches temporarily to the appropriate FM frequency without any audible interruption. Seamless Blending, an intelligent data buffer, ensures seamless crossfades without annoying level and time offsets
The Bluetooth module allows safe and comfortable phone calls while driving. The voice quality is significantly improved by the included external microphone and sophisticated sound processing with suppression of echo and background noise. A special highlight is the ability to pair two phones at the same time and operate them in parallel. When streaming music wirelessly via A2DP, the AVRCP 1.6 profile is used with extended control and search functions including integration of existing information on title, artist, album or genre.
The Music Mix function allows up to 5 smartphones to be connected to the car radio at the same time as a Bluetooth audio source and to switch back and forth between the A2DP streams of the individual players at any time. This can be done either using a button on the Kenwood car radio or simply by starting the smartphone music player. Switching between the different audio players takes place without delay.
With the DSP of the KDC-BT450DAB, the sound in the car can be improved in many ways. The equalizer with 13 bands, for example, allows vehicle-specific increases or decreases in the frequency response to be compensated for, thus ensuring a harmonious sound. The digital time correction makes it possible to compensate for the influence on the acoustic spatial image caused by the speaker position.
The Kenwood Remote app turns compatible Android smartphones into a comprehensive remote control for all Kenwood Bluetooth car radios. The app is controlled via large touch buttons or voice control for basic commands such as pause or track skip.
